More about Chasing Spirit Bear...

These particular markings were very unique, rare, and highly prized among Native Americans. Only the "Medicine Man" of the tribe was permitted to own such a horse with these "sacred markings."   Spirit won the Saskatchewan Paint Horse Club (SPHC) Select Late Weanling Futurity and placed third in the Open Weanling Colt Futurity at the 2007 Harvest of Colors. With very limited showing, he was the SPHC Reserve High Point Stallion in 2008.  He is naturally collected and "Champagne Calcutta" smooth to ride, with an exceptionally long, pencil thin neck and baby doll face.  He throws 50% color with excellent conformation and good minded foals.
