The Broeder Family

From left to right:

Jacob, Michael, Jasmine, Teresa, Stephanie, and our grandson Cooper.

We are a small family ranch located about 12 miles southwest of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. Our ranch is named in memory of our daughter, Kira Broeder, who lost her battle with Cystic Fibrosis in 2004. Her 'gold willow'  tree  here on the ranch, provided her a special place of peace and solitude. We strive to continue her legacy to never give up, to live each day to its fullest, and to appreciate the little things in life.

As Canadian Angus Association Performance Program  participants and as a Verified Beef Production + Cattle Operation, we continually strive to improve our herd genetics and performance.

We raise purebred Australian Shepherd cattle dogs from hard working parents. Deposits for advance bookings of future litters are accepted.

We breed and train registered American Quarter Horses (AQHA) and American Paint Horses (APHA) from cutting, reining, and working cow performance bloodlines.  Currently we stand 2 APHA and 1 AQHA stallions by private treaty to a limited number of outside mares.

We provide numerous equine services, including riding lessons, therapeutic riding, pony rides, trail rides, wagon and sleigh rides.

We are proud distributors of ECO NET  hay nets for horses, sheep, goats, etc., which provide a slow feed option with numerous health, economical, and environmental advantages.

PRETTY PRACTICAL PONIES (Welsh and Miniatures) and KNOT JUST HALTERS are diversifications operated by Jasmine Broeder.
